DOMAIN NAME FOR YOUR MLM BLOG

One of the most important parts of setting up your MLM Blog Website is ‘choosing your domain name’.

When people search on Google, more often than not, they look at the domain name before going to a website.

But the main reason why choosing a right domain is important, is because if you include the Keyword in the domain name, then your MLM Blog Website is ranking MUCH BETTER for the Keyword searches.

Just the domain name adds a huge boost to your rankings. You can use this concept for any other Search Engine Optimization campaigns that you might consider in the future. So always remember:

Having your Keyword in the domain name will give a big boost to your MLM Blog Website’s rankings.

So how do you go about searching a domain name?

1) Go to Godaddy.com – That’s where I usually buy my domains.
2) Use their ‘Bulk Domain Search’ Tool to find available domain names.
3) Choose the best domain name from the available ones and register it.
4) Change the nameservers of the domain name to point to your web hosting.

So, what should you search for in the Bulk Domain Search Tool?

1) Keyword
2) KeywordReview
3) KeywordReviews
4) KeywordReviewed
5) KeywordBonus
6) KeywordBonuses
7) KeywordScam
8 ) KeywordExposed
9) KeywordInfo
10) KeywordRevealed

The preference of domain extensions that I give is: .com > .org > .net

So, if I’m getting both .org and .net for “KeywordReview”, then I choose the .org domain name. While many people will say that it really doesn’t matter, I have gotten better results with .org domain names most of the times.

Keep in mind though, that if you’re not giving a bonus for a product, then there’s no use searching for “KeywordBonus” and “KeywordBonuses”

Essentially, what we’re doing is that we’re keeping the Keyword in the domain name (in the beginning) and adding an extra parameter to it (review, bonus, scam etc)

If you can find a “Keyword.com”, “Keyword.org”, or “Keyword.net” – Then obviously don’t look any further and take it. Otherwise add these extra parameters to the Keyword and then search for domains.

Try to avoid “hyphens” and/or “numbers” in the domain name.

Sometimes you may notice that people have already taken a ton of Keyword related domain names. Don’t worry about competition if you notice such a thing. Learning how to do good SEO (Search Engine Optimization), your Website will probably outrank most of your competition.

If your website is designed for a larger audience with multiple keywords, or if you are creating a website around your own identity, i.e. Personal Blog, the keywords will be used as extensions of the main domain. For example, you may write an article or a page where the keyword would be http://yourblogname.com/keyword.

In this instance, you don’t have to worry too much about registering a domain name using a very specific keyword. Especially if the website is designed to brand you as an authority figure in a specific niche.
