South Korea is a difficult market to open.
It requires a company to establish a business first. Get products registered. Hire employees. Have an office, etc. Then you apply for your Korea MLM license.
If there is any pre-marketing activities, you risk of losing the possibility of getting a license.
After a lot of money invested, building the infrastructure, hiring staff and waiting for the license, Ariix officially received their MLM license.
On May 1st 2015, Ariix was launching in South Korea.
Korea is one of the top 10 MLM markets in the world.
As of this writing, Korea is #2 for Amway.
It is a 4.2 Billion dollars business.

People in Korea are very entrepreneurial.
South Korea is extremely advanced technology wise. It is expected that a company will have all the infrastructure to do business online.
As far as delivery… If you place an order today, you receive it tomorrow. Delivery is very fast.
In Korea, people are used to do MLM full-time. People come to the office in the morning and stay all day long to work.
The Ariix Korea office is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Quite different from the evening schedule we are used to in other parts of the world.

It is not allowed for a company to pay more than 35% in commissions!
Amway is very well connected with regulators and found a way to protect its business by getting a law passed, by limiting the payout to 35%. Many companies pay more than that today and this affected Amway around the globe. Of course a leader can be seduced when they realize they could earn up to 50% more by doing business with a company like Ariix.
But in South Korea, it’s illegal to pay more.
The Ariix compensation plan is not only known for paying more. It is also better structured and balanced between the average person and the top leaders.
